Heather Mead

Heather Mead is an artist based in Ridgmont, Bedfordshire.

Heather studied at The Chelsea School of Art and Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication where she graduated in 2001 with first class honours in Fashion Promotion. She worked for leading design and fashion magazines before leaving London for a rural life in Bedfordshire.

Heather has a love of animals and now specialises in drawing pets and farm animals in graphite pencil. She likes to capture the true character of her subjects by homing in on small details, which is enhanced by working in black and white. She is growing her portfolio and works on commission.
