Edward Durdey
6th
- 15th September 2019
An exhibition of travelling triptychs and St Michael’s Mount paintings.
Edward Durdey’s triptychs constructed from robust oak panels and painted in acrylic on gesso, open to reveal contemplative, symbolic and spiritual worlds, often with gold leaf elements linking them to early icons. The group of paintings on marble of St Michael’s Mount was inspired by a recent visit. He is drawn to the symbolism of the island as a place of detachment and spiritual quest.
This exhibition has now finished.
The Edward Durdey exhibition was on between 6th
